I utilize mindfulness based approaches in the therapeutic setting, and include mindfulness practices into my daily life as well. Mindfulness is not just about meditation or trying to "control or quiet" the mind. Mindfulness can be practiced in many different ways and I help my clients figure out how to incorporate this healing tool that can help in reducing anxiety, alleviating depression, improving mental clarity/ focus and the list goes on!
